Yet they reached out to the SEC? Guess we know where those schools really want to be.

sec passes up on UT and OU and watches them go to B10......
that would make college football interesting again… has the SEC dominance not hurt the sport?

They won’t. Too much money to be made for the conference with those schools in the league.

There's no such thing as a big 6.

It's a Big 5. The idea Tennessee is still in it is lol.

I'd think that would be the best way to align the two
Not necessarily. Keep Auburn in the West (there is an ice cube's chance in hell that Alabama is in the same alignment with Texas and OU added. Alabama still gets to play Auburn as a permanent game, since the current permanent game that Alabama has (Tennessee) would be in the east.

2. Texas is prepared to say goodbye to the Longhorn Network.

If this part is true, then it sounds close to ou/ut joining being a done deal. They’ve held onto that network for a long time. Guess they’re throwing in the towel and will accept SEC/ESPN money.

With a 16 team league which includes Texas and OK the SEC could have their own 4 team playoff and be as big as the current NCAA playoff.

Why would LSU specifically and the SEC generally want to elevate Texas in the recruitment game?

If this is what Chris Del conte wants it’s what he will get. Every thing dude touches turns to gold in his tenure as Texas ad

Wouldn’t be shocked to see Nebraska come calling SEC tomorrow with how pissed they were at the Big ten and their liberal pussy shite last year

Has LSU recruiting in Texas really diminished when A&M came to the SEC? I don't think you can elevate TU in Texas anymore than it is currently... they have been unsuccessful because of laziness and bad leadership. Texas currently reminds me of LSU in the 90s.

which is why A&M absolutely just leaked this years before he wanted this out

Is that true Aggie leaked it?

Nothing can stop what’s coming regardless.

SECW would be crazy difficult though.

It would actually be interesting that way, since Alabama would be in the East now.

A stumbling block to OU/TX joining the Big 10 is travel. It would kill the budgets of the other Big 10's not named Ohio and Michigan.

Its the reason OU/ TX to PAC would never work. Sounds great on paper but cost would be too much.

Texas can't even win the Big 12. They are going to sink further into obscurity with an SEC move.
