I think UT's defense will do pretty well against ND, holding them to 24 or so, but Texas' offense will struggle all game.

24-10 IMO.

Agree with all this

As many high school stars that come out of the state of TX every year it's baffling how UT ever got to a "rebuilding" stage

I guess those that follow them closer have a better insight. Just my opinion from outside looking in

Damn, never seen Texas fans have such a defeatist attitude

I think this game could be closer than most think, it's not like ND is that good.

Notre Dame - 31
Texas - 21

I think Notre Dame will be really good this year.

Same reason Miami, USC, LSU, Ohio St. etc. etc. have been down over the years.

There are other places to go to school. Texas has like 10 D1 football programs.

Notre Dame will struggle to put Texas away. Both teams end up winning 8 or 9 games this year

I live just a few miles from ND in a small neighborhood that a few professors live in as well. I can tell you that everyone up here is jacked for this game, and are expecting a statement. It's so much buzz locally that I feel like I need a panic room installed at my house for if they lose.

I seriously doubt UT wins that many. More like 6 or 7. They should be a lot better next year though.

Texas is more likely to lose 8-9 game than they are to win that many this year.

This. We're too damn young this year (2 true freshmen starters on the OL is never a good thing) & we still don't know who our QB is (Swoopes has greatly outplayed Heard in camp but Swoopes still scares the crap out of me).

Expect a close game for maybe a half before our defense tires out.

I'm going to give you both the benefit of the doubt that you mean 1A schools. Because there are way more than 12 D1 schools in Texas.

Texas' offense is still a mess. ND's defense is healthy again after the tire fire of injuries last year, not to mention the return of KeiVarae Russell.

Close-ish game for about a half and then ND puts it away by 20 or so. I'll say 30 - 10.

No one knows where ND stands relative to country because I just don't think Texas will be that good this year and will be, at best, ND's fifth-toughest game (and probably more like seventh); that offense is going to struggle all year.
