Texas @ Notre Dame- week 1

What are your thoughts/predictions for this one? Can Strong get a signature road win here that will shut up some of the folks starting to get a little antsy, or is his team still at a rebuilding point where it's just a little too hard a task?
Notre Dame is probably going to win, but they had some up and down phases last year, so I could see the horns pulling off the surprise.
ND is favored by around 10, fwiw. I think it will be closer. Field goal difference, in my opinion.

Texas has a dismal past against ND and this won't help. Will be happy to stay close for a half.

I think UT's defense will do pretty well against ND, holding them to 24 or so, but Texas' offense will struggle all game.

Texas is in shambles....ND was an 8 win team last year, and probably better if they don't get screwed at Florida State.
