You have no fricking idea what you're talking about.

I think the fan base has always been good, but it's certainly been different in the Payton era. I'm 22, and I can say the last 7 years, the Saints have added a lot more fans. Like the guy said before, there were blackouts in the late 90s (the game where the Browns beat us on the hail mary, for example). Look around now, there are more people in Church on Sundays with jerseys than there are with suits on.

I'm surprised the Saints aren't #1.

I'm amazed every time I go back to New Orleans.

Even when the Saints weren't that good, nearly every single car has a Saints bumper sticker, window sticker, flag on the window, or something.

Even people's houses have something Saints related whether it's a Saints flag, something hanging in the window, basketball goal painted black and gold, etc.

I live in Houston, and you hardly ever see that kind of support for the Texans.

New Orleans is Saints-crazy.

I would imagine Houston was like that during the days of the old Oilers franchise imo

How do they have the Pats* at #2? They haven't had a losing season in over a decade. A little hard to say they're loyal when they haven't been tested.

Dallas is a good #1 since they still have a huge fan base even though they've won just one playoff game since 1996.

That list does not look legit. Packers being that far down makes no sense.

Not a lambs fan, but they should be a lot higher.

they put 65k in that shitty dome, to watch some of the worst football

And let's add an ownership and coaches who alienated the fan base, yet they still showed up.

Study done 8-10 years ago found that the Saints had the second best attendance per win for the previous 20 years. They were second to Cleveland.

Pretty bad 'study' all around. Raiders dead last is a joke. I hate the Falcons, but they shouldn't be behind the freaking Jaguars.

Already posted, but this is an awful list....the only one in the top 5 I can't complain about is the saints. But teams like the packers, steelers, bills, chiefs, browns, redskins etc. not being in the top 5 is a joke

We have had season tickets since the mid to late 90s. The dome was a pretty sparse place when I was a kid, but that could have been the fact they were usually getting curb stomped before half time so therefore most of the game and my memory remembers the place empty.

Back then people would pee in the circular hand washer thing.
