I'll take the lower ERA and the lower WHIP than all of that. 1.74 ERA in 2000. Let that sink in.
ETA: And the better ERA+.
So in 2000, Pedro had the best WHIP in history and the second best ERA+ in history.
Pretty sure it's clear cut that 2000 was his best season....

1999 wasn't even his best season. 2000 was: ERA of 1.74, 7 CGs, 4 shutouts, ERA+ of 291, HP9 of 5.3, and a WHIP of .737 - which is the best in baseball history. ...
