Steven Jackson retired from the NFL in 2015, but he’s still getting drug tested.

Jackson recently signed a one-day contract with the Rams, whom he played for from 2004-2012. The contract was ceremonial, allowing the three-time Pro Bowler to officially retire as a member of the team and officially put on the jersey one last time. The league apparently missed the memo, however, summoning him to a drug test with NFL adviser Dr. John Lombardo.

Jackson has no plans to comply.

“Dear NFL can you tell Mr. Lombardo that I signed a one day contract,” Jackson posted on Twitter. “I will not be reporting today for my random drug test screening. Thanks in advance #retirement life.”

He should have given his response while lighting up a huge joint.

So good that he was drafted in my fantasy league the year after he retired.

I feel like the NFL did this on purpose so they could say, “SEE?! It’s random!”

I remember hearing a story from Sam Bradford saying some stalker dude would wait for Sam hiding in the bushes to get an autograph around the rams facility. Jackson heard about it and told Sam wall with me. The stalker dude never bothered him again.

Still think it's funny the Falcons signed him when the tread was obviously worn out. Amazing runner though, he would take over games.
