Anthony Richardson 2.0

Why is it that scouts seem to love these guys and 90% of the rest of America can see he’s a RB trying to play QB.

He'd be good in a Taysom Hill role if you could get him mid 2nd round.

Says the guy with the 100% accurate scouting report of Jayden Daniels.

Drafting Milroe might be the thing that fianlly gets Tomlin fired.

I don't think they would ever fire Tomlin outright. He would step down from head coach to be a front office guy.

I highly recommend the Steelers draft him. Surefire Hall of Fame talent with zero downside.

It’s the physical toolset and his responsiveness to coaching plus he’s a really good kid.

Given Poni is reporting this, it’s 100% false

You want the hard truth? Scouts want to try to prove they’re smarter than and superior to dumb uncouth fans posting on message boards.

The Steelers made Kenny Pickett the 20th overall player taken in the draft

Surely they're playing draft games by using misdirection here.

Same reason these genius offensive coordinators call shotgun, 4-wide jet sweeps from the 2 yd line. They know that simply running HB Slam out of a big set 3-4 times almost guarantees success. But they can't show their brilliance doing that.

Smoke screen season, if they truly love the dude they aren’t putting that info out there

I never understand why people react to headlines like this and mock drafts

Using misdirection. That’s exactly what I thought. Make a team, somewhere ahead of you, move earlier for a player who you don’t really want, by propping him up ahead of the draft.

Milroe is a good guy, not a qb though. I understand the hate but feel sorry for the guy sometimes, but then pissed because of his hero ball and me before team vibe.

If they truly believe this there is only one logical reason.

I don't hate him at all. I would love for the Saints to draft him as a Taysom Hill type role. Some RB snaps, some at QB, some at WR. He can make a damn good living in the NFL in this role. He just isn't a full time QB.

Good Milroe is pretty good.

Bad Milroe is very, very bad and bad Milroe is the norm.
