The DP Tour decision on Thursday is about the Scottish Open.. I wouldn't expect a "LIV ban".
For the record, they made a decision about 1 tournament. They did not ban LIV players from playing on their tour. You know deep down that's what you meant when you said "DP Tour is expected to announce their LIV ban"... you didn't mention the "scottish open" when you made that statement.

Dude you're so defensive you sound like you work for the PGA Tour.
I love watching the PGA Tour, but I completely understand why some golfers would want to leave. I dont see how you can't understand to some degree why they would leave and are trying to act like the PGA Tour is some great organization that has only ever had the players best interest in mind. They haven't, that much is clear. You don't like the LIV, which is fine. But not grasping at all why some players are leaving is kind of mind boggling.

I turned it off when he said NFL players are loyal because they feel marketed, paid, and protected.

Cowherd is a joke, one of the most ignorant people in sports media. He barely even watches sports.

Jay Monahan went to Bruce’s wedding
Posted on 6/23/22 at 6:52 pm to wutangfinancial
Sounds like Jay really must be this huge hoarding hated villain. So hated one of the guys that just left for LIV invited him to his wedding a couple weeks ago….
Maybe, just maybe, the evil Pga angle this board is cooking up is as much bullshite as the evil Saudi morality angle of the golf channel…..

I don't think Jay is evil, I think he's just way out of his league with this job.

Maybe so, but it seems like he is very well liked and respected even by one of the players who left for LIV. A far different picture than some in here are trying to paint wouldn’t you say?

No, I wouldn't say that. I haven't seen anything like that. A lot of people calling him incompentant, because he is, but I haven't seen one single person lay the blame on Monohan because he's "evil"
Dumbass

You are extremely neutral. Bravo

Are you saying that Monohan hasn't done a terrible job handling this?
Are you Jay Monohan?

Are you saying people in here really haven’t blamed people leaving on Jay and the PGA being bad guys?
Brooks didn’t leave because he dislikes Jay or anything else. He left because he got offered a shite ton of money

If he would have done his job, they may not have left

Ahh, I see you changing the arguement again

There is a tour offering 100s of millions in guaranteed money to perform less. Even with that, the PGA tour has retained the heavy majority of its top talent. Regardless of what you or anyone says, they clearly are doing something right. That’s just me going with the data we have in front of us Mingo

They lost 4 of their top 10 most popular players by their own metrics

They have retained 41 of the top 50 players in the world. That’s just the data I have in front of me Mingo at the time

20% loss sounds pretty not good to me, especially considering it may get worse
