You know deep down that's what you meant when you said "DP Tour is expected to announce their LIV ban"... you didn't mention the "scottish open" when you made that statement.

I'll just take it that I'm correct whenever I don't get a response from lsupride

There are no goalposts to move. This war is won by having the best talent. So far, the pga is winning the war. Just going by the info we have now

Deep down, I was talking about the Scottish open. Hence I then brought up the Scottish open

Deep down, this is what I meant, but I didnt say it. Now, with revisionist history, believe me, this is what I meant.

Just looked it up. Ranked 1,785 in the world means you have 0 points. So, are we ranked 1,785 in the world too? It’s just a shite ton of guys listed at tied 1,785

"Just by going by the info we have now", the PGA has a serious fricking issue at hand

You being fixated on a guy that's been a pro for like 3 weeks is odd

It’s a serious question. Are we ranked 1,785 in the world too?

Well T-1,785 to be specific

No because you aren't a professional.

A golf fan would know that, but you weren't one 3 weeks ago so I'm not surprised

I mean doesn’t seem too hard to get 0 points. I mean shite, I have 0 points and like you say I’m still an amateur

But amateurs get ranked Mingo, so how did you really answer my question about getting ranked 1,785

And I see guys currently ranked 1,785 that are amateurs…..

Piot has 6 qualifying events has been a pro for a month, again, this is a dumb point you are trying to make.

Did you think Spieth sucked when he turned pro too? Based on your criteria, that has to be true.

Article that just dropped. Interesting, very interesting.

quote:

The OWGR also requires that a tour hold a qualifying school before the start of the season or offer a qualifying process into each event.
LIV doesn’t have that. Their rep claimed,

quote:

LIV will be able to check that box, the executive said, through a concept it plans to implement within the next few years,

So, that seems like a pretty easy crutch for the OWGR to lean on. Agreed Mingo? LIV only has a “future concept in the next few years” for that…..

More in the article. A lot of other criteria LIV seems to potentially lack as well. Their rep likes to call it “gray areas”. Well gray areas make it easy to rule whichever way you please

Truly, this article contains good insight

You conveniently left out a large part in your quote

quote:

The OWGR also requires that a tour hold a qualifying school before the start of the season or offer a qualifying process into each event.

From my understanding, there will be automatic qualifiers from the Asian tour.

Additionally there seem to be "rules" that are currently not being followed. The Hero World Challenge is an "unofficial" PGA Tour event that recieves world ranking points. It's literally a hit and giggle.

Im not up in arms about the Hero receiving points but no legitimate organization can give the Hero points and deny LIV. At this point, the criteria isn't being followed so either clean the whole thing up or give LIV points too.

Thats the “concept” their rep is talking about coming in “the next few years” I would assume. But that is not currently in place

With no current qualification standard at all, LIV is working outside a basic OWGR parameter according to the article
