re: Sounds like Brooks Koepka is joining LIV

My opinion was based off of the DP World Tour making a decision on the Scottish Open. As I've already stated, I did not realize that the PGA was involved in this decision. This was the PGA's decision, not DP World Tour's.
Actually, what you stated a few days ago was that DP World Tour would be announcing a ban for LIV players. They obviously are not doing that as 7 LIV players are playing in their tournament this weekend.
Go ahead and enjoy your victory lap on this one though. Still waiting to see that intellectual honesty.

funny you didn't quote my entire post.

I wouldn't expect a "LIV ban". I would bet LIV players will be allowed to play in the scottish open also.

Reed, Phil, DJ, Bryson, and Brooks signed on so it tells you all you need to know about it haha

Well, are they playing in the Scottish open? Or are they banned?

Im happy to play this game with you.
Was LIV's OWGR application denied?

What about his full quote makes it better? Are the LIV players banned from the Scottish open?

Just to let you know, the DPTour CEO is also on the OWGR board. They are expected to announce their LIV ban Thursday…..
Well, did the DP Tour announce their LIV ban? or did the PGA rule out LIV players for their event that they co-sanction with DP Tour?

They're not being awarded OWGR pts in London = application denied.
LIV players not allowed to play in a PGA/DP Tour event = "a DP Tour ban for LIV players"... even though they are currently playing in a DP Tour event.

That was the information at the time, that information was incorrect. I have no problem "admitting" that because I can only operate on what we're being told..
You on the other hand assured us it had been denied.

The news came today.

Players who have joined the LIV Golf Series will be banned from next month’s Scottish Open, according to a report in The Telegraph.
Posted on 6/23/22 at 3:35 pm to lsupride87
Why are you saying that? we know

This feels like the exact same thing.

I've told him a dozen times, "I don't like LIV because I enjoyed the Tour as is" is a fine take. We can disagree or agree on that and it's fine as it's completely subjective.
Him being objectively wrong on things just makes him look stupid

you could say it's a lack of intellectual honesty

We understand that. It's a cosanctioned event between the PGA and DP World Tours (which I'm sure you didn't know until someone told you like the dozens of other things in the last couple of weeks).
The DP World Tour has yet to ban players from events strictly sanctioned by them.
Will they? Maybe, but it's entirely too early for you to be taking your victory lap against no one.

You took a victory lap last week about the DP world tour stepping out on their alliance because of the Munich tournament. Do you think maybe you are also a pot calling a kettle black?

Yes, they are. lsufb opined that they would not be. His opinion was not correct. It was his opinion and he presented as such. Whatever, who cares.
Now let's talk about your statements you presented as fact that were just wrong.

It wasn't a victory lap, I posted the news when it was reported. That still may happen. It may not, I'll stay as current with the developing news as possible.
