I’m sure he’ll be a sanctimonious douche about it

No idea why anyone who attends a PGA event would celebrate this. Lunacy.

Rumors swirling around Morikawa, Hovland, Xander, and Cam Smith since last weekend too.

Also a rumor of Morikawa.

That would be surprise.

PGA commish has to be losing his job. He kept acting like LIV was no threat to him and he belittled any idea that the guys would want to leave the PGA Tour.

Welp.

If those guys go, that is a ton of money being thrown around. I can’t imagine what guys like Scheffler, Burns, and JT would fetch

Xander and Hovland came out and denied the rumors.

Brooks joining was so obvious. He tried to act like he was above it all in his press conference, truth was he was just too scared to admit he was joining LIV

The guy who could be top 10 ever in a sport but instead chooses to be a douche bag who doesn't practice and now sucks. Wants to continue not practicing, and get a pay day.

I dont think the PGA has handled this well but LIV isn't exactly killing it. The people they are getting, the "names", is like a restaurant that dumps truffles on everything and assumes it is fancy.

Oh well

Moving right along

It’s kind of brilliant, the slow poaching of players

It keeps the LIV story in the headlines constantly

Play less golf and make more money?

This sounded like Brooks from the beginning.

He was probably just begging them for an offer

If you take Tiger out of the mix, because he doesn’t play but 3 majors in a year and no other regular events, there may be more majors won on the LIV Tour than the PGA Tour.

This second wave of players leaving will be a huge blow.

The question will be “who wins more majors currently and going forward”

Right now it’s Non LIV-1, LIV-0

The LIV guys performed horrifically at the US open. Will be interesting to see if that’s a trend. Get your money and basically relax and coast. DJ admitted that was his plan

He just won less than 16 months ago and has two T-5 or better finishes this season.
