Current LIV players results at US open

The rest missed cut or did not play
Victor Hovland, Tommy Fleetwood, Cam Smith, Tony Finau, Billy Horschel, and some other higher ranked players all missed the cut. Let's not act like only LIV players played bad. one major + the fact that LIV is brand new and seems to be getting better players weekly is some great comparison.

Once that was realized, he moved to "invitational" and "no cut".

You are correct. The PGA and DP had some players play poorly, but they also had some players play extremely well and even had the winner
The LIV just had players finish poorly

Tiger played his events to gear up for the majors. Everything revolves around the majors. He also has the most competitive work ethic of anyone in golf history.
Meh, a lot of times, sure. But he didn't push for the Zozo to move to Japan in October because he was prepping for majors. And he wasn't playing in tournaments like the Dubai classic in February for that reason either.

There's 48 LIV players, there's hundreds of card holding PGA Tour members.
I've told you a dozen times, just say you don't like LIV. That's fine and perfectly reasonable. What is not reasonable is making up retarded arguments like this.

I get what you’re saying for sure. Strength of Field matters OWGR wise, and doesn’t generally matter for PGA Tour events.
One thing with OWGR that does kind of stink with no cut events (same thing as the Hero) is that you can play very bad and still get a bunch of points if the SoF is good (that’s not solely a LIV issue). Another issue is overly crediting the winners of events with weak fields. Tony Finau got the same # of points for winning the Puerto Rico open as he did for finishing in Solo 5th at the US Open and more than he did for a T4 for the PGA.
So there are definitely issues with both. But I do agree that OWGR is a much better indicator for the best golfers in the world are.

I don’t like LIV. I’m also just factually pointing how how the LIV players finished at the US open
It will be something to monitor at all the combined events going forward

You are taking an absurd position to make your point which just makes you look like an idiot.

Not sure how either side isn't taking it personally. At this stage, it does appear that the PGA has gone out of its way to publicly lambast LIV more so than otherwise.

You said the FedEx isn’t an algorithm when trying to boast of your peak math skills. You may want to slow your roll on calling others idiots, friend

Like i said, if I knew we were going to get into the definitional syntax, I could have chosen my word more carefully, but you know exactly what I meant.
"you get 500 points for a win and you get 500 points for a win" like youre Oprah is not objective.
Just like "we both work for Walmart so we both make $10/hour" isn't objective when ones a cashier and ones the CEO

That’s kind of my point (which I probably didn’t explain very well, but that’s not shocking to anyone
His hit and giggles tended to be outside of the major season. In major season he had a specific way he was preparing for them. I think almost always he’d play 2 weeks before a major then sit out the week before, but the goal was to be trending for the major. If these exhibitions are surrounding the majors, it’s going to be tough for players to prep the way they’d otherwise plan on being ready for the majors.
Again, I can’t be really mad at them for doing what they think is best in their life. I just think it doesn’t help the quality of golf (and as people can tell you, I watch an unhealthy amount of golf)

There are several tours approved for OWGR points that are 54 hole tournaments, no just "one off events"
Your stance as changed through out this and will most likely change some more.

A week ago he didn't know what the OWGR was.

Henrik Stenson got T1 OWGR points that they gave out in a mixed event 2 weeks ago when he lost by 9. The Tour Championship gives out points for a shadow leaderboard. I don’t think we need to pretend like the OWGR is some high and mighty authority for tourneys.
