The Ducks have some question marks, though I still think they'll be pretty good. Losing Darron Thomas and LaMichael James won't be easy to replace. Plus, that defense hasn't exactly looked good.

People always get caught up in the hype of previous seasons without looking deep at who teams are returning. The solid teams returning most of the players on their trenches (haven't really looked at this yet) should be the teams at the top of your lists.

I think Clemson is getting very underrated because of the Orange Bowl massacre, they have the best player in the country IMO and bring back a ton of other starters

Kinda, but not as much as everyone seems to think. Still have 6 returning starters.

LSU will actually have a qb next year.

Thats yet to be seen.

Arkansas does get both LSU and Alabama at home next year.

They'd played with both of them for awhile but then the games got out of hand. They just need more players to be able to hang with them for the full 60 minutes. They've been recruiting well. One of these years they'll break through.

no. wanna know why? There is a thread on the SEC recruiting board, a couple of pages deep now, which has listed each SEC school and where they got this year's recruits from.
Ark has more from Tex than from Ark.

LSU has all but three from Louisiana.

If you do not have enough local players, you wont compete at the highest level routinely. once in a while, sure. but not routinely.
maybe you will catch a star, now and then.

of the entire SEC, only LSU has the luxury of home grown talent at the level necessary, and KEEPS it at home.

Georgia has the most players and does not keep them at home.
Bama has 8 from Georgia and 8 from Bama.

don't think Alabama can beat LSU? We will have the experienced QB, and a good O line. the defense will be alive by then. We'll see

The defense will not be alive by then. They will be 2010 over again; good but not great. And when Saban doesnt have a great defense, his teams lose 3 times. One of those will be in TS. LSU could have 4-5 1st round picks on defense with experience next year similar to Bama this year. They will easily be the Best defense next season and Mett will show everyone why he should have played this year.

The good news is if bama beats us at home, the BCS will give us a mulligan and put us in the BCS title game when we wouldn't even win our own division when we don't deserve it. The title will be tainted, but we will still claim it like Bama.

Are you referring to bama or Michigan since you are a fan of both somehow. You have to be some loser to have 2 die hard teams? Who are you rooting for to open the season?
