Should be 6th MVP in a row if the voters weren’t racists

Nobody gave a shite about Tim Duncan for his entire career on this website and he was easily a top 10 player all time yet they sucked the anus of Kobe. Jokic is the same. White , black, purple nobody gives a shite about a fundamental playing big man

Coming from the OP this is great

stfu with this

You'll be hard pressed to find anyone who doesn't think Jokic is the best player in the league right now

If Joker was American, he would be getting absolutely glazed by national media outlets.

He is quiet, no controversy, does not demand attention. Just like Tim Duncan.

No one watches the NBA anymore. It’s a dead sport

Actually - he blows Jordan's best seasons out of the water as well Comparing Jordan's peak to Jokic's last 6 years

I’ve got a question about PER, it states that it is pace adjusted and then normalized so that the league average is 15.

What if one league is better than another? What if 2024 NBA would have been a 19 PER when comparing to the 1994 league? Wouldn’t that mean a PER of 35 in 2024 would be a PER of 39 in 1993?

also, I saw plenty of people talking about Joker’s game the other night

For a Christmas NBA game that ended at like 1 AM on the East coast, it’s getting plenty of attention

It is supposedly adjusted - but not entirely

For example - Kobe's 2005-2006 season would have been 43 ppg if brought to the 80's pace - so I would assume Jordan's PER in the 80's was slightly inflated compared to the 90's.

Tim Duncan was “overlooked” because there were better big men than him playing while he was playing. That franchise is also responsible for the europussification of the sport.

Probably about 3-4 years ago, I had a deep conversation about who was the better offensive player, Kevin Durant or Jokic. I was going hard trying to defend KD.

At this point, I feel like it's no longer even close. Jokic is just in a completely different stratosphere of being better than KD ever was.

Forgive me. I haven’t watched a single NBA game since 2020 and only watched sporadically since around 2012. I was a rabid fan from about 1990 until around 2010. Am I understanding you correctly that Jokic has averaged 30+ points, 10+ rebounds, and 10+ assists over the last 6 years?!? This can’t be right?? I must be misunderstanding somehow…
