Last time this stupidity came up, I did an analysis and actuallly showed that based on jet leagues revenues and # of games, they were paid MORE than the average NBA player.

Women just love to be moral peacocks on social media.
As of 2012, the women made up nearly 52% of people 18 years old or older in the United States.
That's over 150 million women. If they actually gave a shite about the sport, they'd watch on TV, go to games, buy merchandise and the WNBA would make tons of money.
But guess what, like all faux victims, these women just want to bitch and complain on Twitter and not actually remedy the situation and quite literally put their money where their mouth is.
They should shut that league down.

Our company had a rough time last season, and I got no bonus. We worked hard and got a 5% bonus this year. I make low end of six figures managing about 20 people. She makes low end of six figures to play 35 games over about three or four months. I get my pay over a full year. People are only slightly more interested in what she does than what I do. No one but investors care about what I do. She also can go overseas and make a million. The WNBA is trash, and I am not misogynist (although I think the NBA is trash too).

It's funny, sort of, that Tom Brady is a guaranteed 1st ballot HOF ...maybe best of all time QB and makes half of what Giselle does (granted he has reworked his contract a couple of times to allow the Pats some flexibility)...but when I looked this up a couple of yrs ago, Giselle made over 40m a yr. The highest paid male model made less 1.6m. Demand...it might just be the most important word in economics. Btw. Good for that dude making 1.6

This is worse than her logic, tbt.
Not really.
She’s an elite player in her league. Barnes is an above average player in his. If she thinks her pay should be comparable to his, she should be able to demonstrate that by performing at least at his level.
If she can’t, then it’s indicative of what really should be obvious. The level of play in the two leagues is vastly different so the pay differential makes sense.

If WNBA players want to compare their salaries to NBA guys, the NBA guys should start countering back by comparing NBA league revenue, attendance figures and TV ratings.
