They should strike, when they’ve been on strike for 4 years and no one has noticed maybe she will understand.
Her point too is that it’s a piece of the pie argument, not that the salaries should be the same. However it’s still a case of they have no leverage, so they get a smaller piece of their pie.

I just don’t understand how everyone arguing the wnba salaries can be so financially obtuse. The organization you work for doesn’t make money, they can’t pay you what other organazations that do make a lot of money pay their talent. If everyone were clamering to watch wnba games things would be different, but that is not the case. Most sports fans barely remember the wnba even exists.

I love how she is complaining about making low 6 figures. Most college grads would kill to work some job they hate for that. She gets it for playing basketball that no one even cares about. I’d be surprised if many of those wnba teams have more exposure than the uconn women’s team.
