It is the most impactful penalty in the NFL and its up to the discretion of a ref to determine it.

yes

I also think 15 yards instead of spot foul.

Yes, no question. The fact that they're not is either intentional or pure incompetence.

What if everything is review-able, but give coaches an extra challenge? A blatant hold, missed PI, or facemask is a problem in any game.

I like that idea

2 challenges as usual. 1 for missed call.

I’d go further and say that any official that loses a certain percentages of challenges can’t call playoff games

Doesn't the CFL do this? They seem to make it work.

This is pretty much what Belichick has been lobbying for for years.

No.

I don't know about you guys, but I have work tomorrow.

I have no interest in watching an 8 hour game.

Ew

That doesn't even feel right to look at.

Put Lebron on the Hawks and his legacy is the exact same thing it is now.

Put Brady on the Browns or Titans or whatever team and his legacy isn't even in the same galaxy as it is now.

No, there is technically some form of PI on most routes. Whether offensive or defensive

Even as a Saints fan, I agree with this. I'm closer to getting rid of reviews completely than expanding the current set up. There is something nice about watching a play and knowing that my initial reaction doesn't have to be questioned every time.

If they implement challenging penalties, they really need to streamline the review process.. no matter what’s going on, as soon as a play ends, an official in the booth needs to start looking at the play. No need to wait for all the shenanigans on the field to go down and for the coach to throw the challenge flag. Let them start reviewing it immiediately, then if a coach or an official decides its worth a look, they have their answer immiediately. No need for them to run off to the side and look under a hood or anything like that, have the answer ready (when applicable) as soon as they decide it’s under review

The game flow is horrible enough in some games..

Unfortunately for the Saints, they could not review it since no flag is thrown. This is what the NFL Network was told by the NFL.

If the challenge rules are left exactly the same, but a coach can challenge whatever they want, why would the game take any longer?

Coaches would still have to be judicious in using challenges throughout the game.

There should be a penalty review for each team in each half on top of the challenges available. You only run out of challenges if you get them wrong. Doesn't make a ton of sense to prove the referee wrong and be penalized by losing the challenge.
