You get 2 challenges per game, and a 3rd if you win the first 2.

Every play can be challenged, including penalties. If you want to challenge a holding call on the first drive, go ahead, that's your prerogative.

What a about challenging PI, Def/off holding on 3rd down?

I'm hesitant to be able to review every play...


NFL needs to address age, fitness and full time wage for quality professional refs.

YouTube a pro rugby game and look at the age and fitness levels of their refs. Light years ahead of uncle Walt and grandpa perrera.

I agree that keeping the number of coaches challenges the same but what about under 2 minutes when it's a booth review? Do they look to review potential penalties only on big plays and scoring plays?

I'm open to the idea in the NFL.

College? God no. The games are already four hours long as is.

I don't understand why a coach can't challenge in the final 2 minutes anyway. They should be able to do so.
