Only if they add kickboxing as well for women because of Title IX.

Seriously, would people support college boxing?

College boxing still exists. Just isn't under the NCAA.

People would not support boxing....its time has passed. Down here in the South it's all about football and maybe baseball. We merely tolerate baseball. We consider sports like soccer to be for women only. Lacrosse to be spawn of Satan. Wrestling....too ghey

They need to add football for women so men can get some of the old sports back.

Why would any boxer worth anything go to college to get his head pounded for free?

It won’t happen, but I’d be balls deep in it.

This continues to be the most false line in sports.

College boxing would be great. I imagine that the colleges are scared of liability issues.

Lacrosse is a communist sport devised by Vladimir Lenin himself and exported by ole Joe Stalin during the 1930's . All this communiss propaganda 'bout it being a native American sport is pure propaganda

I don’t think the ncaa would be interested in letting college athletes box, especially multiple times over a span of 4-5 months.

To answer your question I think it would be comparable to wrestling. Wouldn’t get tv time except for the championships but would have a decent in house attendance.
