He was up there until he started meeting with teams, that should tell you all you need to know.

This is the answer. Several scouts/GMs said he's got Olympic levels of entitlement and is basically an a-hole, and not in a good way.

What upside? He has zero elite physical tools. Not a good athlete, not a good arm, not good in the pocket, didn't win a ton of games, didn't play elite competition...where exactly is the upside?

To be fair his OC sucked. Like really bad. But Travis having to bail him out of shite throws probably helped his stats but showed on tape.

Well, perhaps he's taken the "Look where they took Tom Brady" attitude.

Brady wasn't picked until the 6th round at #199--------not that I'd even consider Sanders being on, or anywhere near the level of QB as Brady.

The dude works hard from all accounts and has positive reviews from players like Tom Brady. Along with no off the field issues.

Tom Brady's current organization could've picked ShiteTurd Sandwich last night but didn't, so....

Tom Brady literally could have picked him.

The word is his interviews were legendarily bad. Giants took him off the board completely after his.

No, I’m surprised a couple of more teams didn’t trade back into the back of the first round and take QBs. That 5th year option is a big deal

But Ward at least has NFL-level arm talent. Shedeur, not so much.

I don't really see the incentive for anyone to draft Shedeur today either.

Say he actually hits and is a decent QB early, now you don't have the 5th year option.

Does anyone in their right mind think he wouldn't A) holdout before his contract expired and B) demand to be the highest paid QB in the league? Any GM with a modicum of foresight has to see this as a lose/lose. You spend the draft capital on him now, and he's holding out after year 3 demanding to be highest paid QB in the league. The juice just isn't worth the squeeze

Why would they pick him when they just traded for a qb?

The Giants also drafted Daniel Jones high, paid him after 1 playoff performance and have also signed 2 other QBs this offseason.

Supposedly Tennessee coaches didn’t want to have anything to do with James Pearce and he was drafted.

Football isn’t played in an interview room. I’m assuming he doesn’t fake it for the interviews because he’s already financially set. Coaches coach and you either have a good one or not. It’s up to the coach to get his arse in line or move on.

He can either play the position or not. He may be a career back up, he may be a starter. Who knows. But all the ridicule he gets is undeserved.

The comments/quotes are easy to find, here's one linked example.
Shedeur Sanders ripped by anonymous coach before NFL Draft: 'The worst formal interview I’ve ever been in in my life'

Others from Grok:
AFC Executive (Anonymous):
“It didn’t go great [for Sanders] in our interview.”

NFL QB Coach:
"If his last name was Breer," an unnamed NFC quarterbacks coach said about Sanders, "and he was coming out of Minnesota, he’d be a sixth-round pick. He doesn’t play with good feet. He’s late on stuff. He has an average arm. His accuracy is OK, but he has no timing, no anticipation. He flashes some throws, but he’s an average player, not a great athlete. Even if you watch his pro day, there’s no timing or rhythm. He takes extra hitches."

To be fair there are other, positive quotes. Some scouts clearly liked him, some clearly didn't.

I think you'd be more comfortable on Twitter with the other conspiracy theorists who think there's some grand scheme by all 32 teams to keep Shedeur down.
