And now the Mavs are the second best in the west.

LUKA was eligible for a max deal this summer

frick AD. He deserves everything and more for selling his soul to Lebron. The Pelicans had Jrue Holiday and just won the lottery for Zion and AD still said I want to play with the king. fricking childish loser

Yah he knew the Pelicans were poverty AF and Zion was a bitch. Lived in Beverly Hills and had a ring, he was 100% right.

The Pels literally share an office to save on real estate. Cringe.

The lakers will quickly find out that Luka is a bad defensive player and they’ll realize that this trade isn’t as lopsided as it seems.

The Mavs knew they couldn’t win with him. They got gentleman’s swept by the Cs without a healthy Porinzgis. They saw the writing on the wall and decided to get back a good return while they still could.

Covid bubble ring ain’t a ring, matey. Dude needed the biggest outlier in nba history to have a shot at staying healthy.

I don’t even follow the NBA and this trade is shocking to me. Couldn’t the Mavs have easily demanded more picks and better, younger players?

A good return? What are you smoking? This is without a doubt one of the most one sided deals in sports history

Anthony Davis is putting up awesome numbers this year and is up for defensive player of the year contention. Max Christie is a promising young piece. That 2029 lakers pick will be interesting when Luka is 30 years old and declining.

That’s a lot better than what they’d get a year from now when Luka was about to walk out the door in free agency.

agree the lakers gave up their star big so when LeBron retires they’re gonna have a stat oriented player who never wins anything
