She is calling Felix fake.
Getting into a fight with the most decorated US female sprinter of all time, who has been in the sport for almost two decades, has no conflicts with runners, and has a strong rep with everyone besides Nike execs after she says some positive words about you on national tv is certainly a unique strategy.

I don’t see what’s fake about what Felix said. My guess is she didn’t call Sha’Carri or message her with support or advice. She didn’t bring up the topic on her own.
It’s not like Felix claimed to spend hours helping her, referring to a grief counselor, etc. She said some positive comments and was polite when asked about it by a mainstream figure. That’s what adults do.
I’ve said it before but this is a very likable generation of track and field athletes (Rai, Lyles, Norman, Holloway, Keni, Gabby Thomas, Brazier) and Sha’Carri manages to get all of the media attention.

She screened herself. Felix has been there and done that in terms of success. She was extremely supportive. Richardson can’t deal with the fact that she screwed herself. Pretty common reaction. Zero personal responsibility.
