I’m not reading this thread but that offensive line was atrocious they put in front of Burrow. They knew it was going to be terrible and did nothing to fix it.

I blame the Bengals for being a failure of an organization. There were games Burrow got hit 15 times. That’s just law of averages eventually he would get KO’d.

I think his injury is on the organization because they failed to put together a workable line or adjust when it became evident there was a problem.

And risk a career ending injury in college and get nothing over guaranteeing yourself life changing money no matter what happens...

The NFL isn’t really socialism, but I’m not getting into that.

Yah I think the Bengals get treated unfairly they had a decent amount of consistency and decent results relatively recently

These teams that are bad year in and year out should not get rewarded each year with the best draft picks. Something has to change there have been great players drafted by shitty teams that ruin their careers.

I’m just saying, the #1 pick in the draft deserves a lot fricking more than the shittiest team in the NFL... it is what it is
Why? And also they get a lot more than just a bad team. Joe got a little over 36mil different things.

I like the lottery idea though. Teams shouldn't get rewarded for tanking all year.

Look at it this way. The Bungals will have two drafts, of high picks, to use on some linemen before JB gets back under center. Because he's not playing next year.

I love how OP completely ditched this thread when things turned against his opinion

Y’all act like Burrow is Jesus Christ himself. Yeah he seems awesome and what not but he’s a football player. It’s alright to feel bad for him but stop praising these guys. It’s not the end of the word. He has millions now, will require surgery and be able to walk after. He will have a normal life no matter what.

I just find it odd that they're acting like it's some new thing and not a well-known and well-appreciated downside to going at the top of the draft that's been around for decades.

Why didn’t the worst team in the league have an all-pro line waiting for Burrow?! Burrow should’ve forced a trade to the Ravens!

This is such a stupid post. You wouldn't say a word if it was any other non-LSU player. The Bengals organization isn't that bad. The Burrow threads on here have become tiresome.
