still what a shitty franchise to begin with, this kid could have been an MVP QB with a great system around him, yet he got fricked and has to suffer a potential career ending or changing injury, and all because the Bengals shitty fricking front office doesn’t know how to build or even attempt to sustain a successful program.

This notion that Joe Burrow sustained his injury because he plays for the Bengals is fricking absurd.

They made the playoffs a bunch recently, I don’t understand the animosity.

Eliminate that socialist system and let the players pick the team/contract.

Why because if I were Trevor Lawrence I would tell the jets to get fricked and come back to college another year or just tell them if they draft me that I would never play a down for them?

I’m the #1 pick like Trevor Lawrence, I would tell the jets to frick off. Just like Burrow should have told Cincy, but I get it, he wanted to stay home... still what a shitty franchise to begin with, this kid could have been an MVP QB with a great system around him, yet he got fricked and has to suffer a potential career ending or changing injury, and all because the Bengals shitty fricking front office doesn’t know how to build or even attempt to sustain a successful program. I would never bitch ever again or be mad at a player for saying frick a certain team in the draft and signing where they want to sign.
shite happens.

This is the real world, not some dream land.

Any player out of college should be able to pick where they want to play. You shouldn’t be forced into a system

As a Panthers fan, Cam Newton completely transformed that franchise for years.

No one is forcing them to play anywhere.

I normally don't make posts like this but I'm not sure I've ever seen someone bleed like OP is doing in this thread.

I also didn't realize only players on bad teams get hurt.

Sucks for Joe and I wish him nothing but the best, he'd probably be embarrassed by you right now fwiw.

No

Because this is the 23rd thread spewing the same whiney, nonsensical bullshite.

Burrow’s toughness probably contributed as well. He was stepping up into a collapsing product. A scared player would have bailed like Matt Ryan against the Saints.

It’s the hearsay about a cheap owner that doesn’t invest in the team.

It’s been talked about a few times on Jacob Hester’s show that not all franchises are the same. The payroll might be relatively the same, but world class training staffs, nice facilities, etc is not the same.

He aired his days at San Diego compared to Denver. San Diego ownership is/was cheap, Denver had much better facilities.

And before I hear the “oH sCrEw tHoSe WiNeY MiLliOnAiReS!!! PhUcKiNg CuCkS!!”, not everyone makes Tom Brady money to afford $20k a month for a rent house with a gym.

The Ewing envelope was on tv. Plenty people said this year's live NHL draft lottery was rigged.

Yeah, newsflash...shitty teams get the top picks in the NFL draft...that's how it works, that's how it's been.

There have been tons of star rookie Top 10 draft picks that have gotten injured and tore ACLs their first year, mostly running backs.

It's still football, players get injured...and quarterbacks are still football players to some degree no matter how much you or the league wants to protect them.

Go cry to David Carr or Kijana Carter, they might be sympathetic.
