It’s pretty sad that the two teams in the championship both ponied up a lot of money to purchase star starters off of other teams. That’s what the sport has become, who will spend the most.
That's just one of about a million threads on SEC RANT about Ohio State buying a title, the best team money can buy...blah blah blah

I don’t see anything there specifically about SEC players getting poached but either way, the sentiment is both accurate and stupid to bitch about. Just the nature of college football after NIL.

False equivalency. You are buying starters/All -SEC/All American players. Burrow never contributed anything to OSU. LSU made him a star, Jameson Williams was buried on the depth chart and only had 15 catches in 2 years at OSU. Bama developed him into a star and made him a 1st Rd pick. Quinn Ewers never completed a pass at OSU etc. Judkins lead the SEC in rushing, and TDs they are not the same.
Notice nobody said anything when you got Justin Fields from UGA. Because he contributed nothing at UGA, he developed at OSU.
You are buying proven elite starters from other contenders. It's a cheap championship. Nobody respects it.
