If brees doesn't throw picks it'll be close. That int/fumble return for a td last game was a killer. Also Wilson played an absolutely perfect game.

What if I told you that teams ran on Seattle 422 times for 1,626 yards for an average of 3.9 yards per carry?
25% of those yards came in 2 games where we had breakdowns. After the adjustments were made (last 7 games of the season), the run defense has allowed 83 yards per game at 3.3 yards per carry which would actually be #1 in the NFL for both categories.

As a Saints fan, I'm thrilled with tonight's win. But, I'm also a realist. Drew Brees just struggled against the worst pass D in the NFL. Seattle is the best pass D in the NFL.
I fully expect to lose. I don't know if our OL and RBs can duplicate their play tonight. And, Drew is gonna have to be nearly perfect. And, Lewis has to be back and 100%.

I don't expect Wilson to drop picture perfect passes in 30-40 yards down field under duress again. Dude was absolutely lights out first game.

Will be an entirely different game, blee dat

Over the last five games (after their bye week where they made adjustments), Philly gave up an average of 74.4 yards per game.
Those were five of the 11 games that they kept opponents under 100 yards.

Bottom line, if the Hawks are as overconfident as their fans are, then they won't win.
Fortunately for them, Carroll won't let that happen.

You probably should. Saints have what 4? or 5? defensive backs out now? Not even sure if Lewis will be back if ruled a concussion. How many were out when they played a month ago? three?
Saints are too banged up in the secondary. No way they win this game.

seattle doesnt have the greatest passing attack. I am confident the coaches will put up a better gameplan than last time.

If the Saints win next week, I'm talking shite to every Seahawks fan I see, which will be a lot of them.

I wonder if there has ever been an example in or around 2010 of one team blowing out another team in the regular season only to lose to that team in the playoffs...
Fack you man

they could win... but most likely they won't.
There are no dominant teams in the league this year though.
NONE.
and if any of you don't think that then you obviously haven't watched the NFL the last few years.
point is, the last few years a wildcard team has gotten hot at the right time and gone on to win it all. Seattle is nothing special on offense, I think Philadelphia has more talent than Seattle on offense and the Saints D just shut their arse down for the most part.
thing is Seattle probably has the best D in football. So.. hate to do it.. but I give them the edge.

Well, considering the game was over in the first half, Wilson threw for over 300 yards with 3 touchdowns and zero interceptions. Their passing game may not be prolific, but they sure as hell can do it.

Hawks and Niners are the two most complete teams IMHO.
I don't think the Saints have much talent at all on offense outside of Brees and Graham.
49ers probably have less skill position talent than the Saints. Saints WR's have been poor this season, but they're the only team with a top 5 ranked offense and defense, so you can't leave them out of the picture.
Saints need something like an A+ game to the Seahawks B game to win this one. It won't be a blowout like last game as long as Payton sticks to running Ingram/Robinson for 25+ carries.
