Looks like Ouachita was a flash in the pan last year. Ouch that was a total beat down!

Holy Cross 10
St Charles Catholic 7

Final/OT

SCC fumbles on 3rd down from the 4yard line in OT

Holy Cross 3 runs and a FG to win.

Extremely physical defensive battle.

4 of the last 5 SCC games have gone to OT. All 3 this year.

STM defeats CHS in an unbelievable comeback in the 4th. Another great game in this series.

Chalmette 24 Salmen 6… a dominant performance against ranked Salmen and we’ve now had our fun before the Catholic League… I wouldn’t even be shocked if we get votes in the poll this week.

the Catholic League went 6 for 6 again tonight…

STM was down 42-28 with 4 minutes left. They scored a TD with 1 minute left, recovered the onside kick, scored another TD with :03 left, and converted the 2-point attempt to win 43-42. Unbelievable ending!

Sportsline just came on channel 9

Does St. Michael have their own field on their campus now? I just saw it it looks good, in a losing effort against undefeated Dutchtown

ETA I looked it up, guess I missed that news

Cecilia could beat them. Although, Barbe easily beat Cecilia tonight (if I'm reading the score correctly) 41 - 21.

Crazy what happened to Salmen athletics post Katrina. Demographics and new schools in the area killed that program.

Lakeshore has played 15 football seasons now… PJP has gotten a lot of kids that used to be Salmen’s. There’s First Baptist around there but they aren’t anything

I don’t know if Pulaski Academy is still a powerhouse, but Airline travelled up to Little Rock tonight and beat them 40-35.

Lakeshore, PJP, and growth of Northshore

Edit to add, I thought PJP was newer than what it is, maybe just more of a demographics change in the Salmen school district.

They do. Actually very nice stadium and field. Think it’s the second year they’ve had it.
