Does the dad that disappeared not play a role in that? I think that’s what aggravates people about you is that you don’t assign blame to the adults that made the decisions that lead to that situation.

Yes, we’re empathetic to the poor kid that is dealt a shitty hand, but the shitty adults that fricked that kid over are the ones at fault, not the country club parents that actually raised their children.

Can you devise a theory as to why that is a cycle in the black community?

I don’t care IF they bend or break some small rules as long as they keep developing fine men in the community like Derrius Guice.

It’s hilarious you don’t think any white people worked their asses off to get where they are even from a hard upbringing

My story and parents work ethic are extremely common, yes, even for white people

Sooo, “Tuition assistance” that most receiving it are those who come from public schools, and surprisingly are “really” good athletics?

Dang, Guice left CHS shook up.

This also isn’t true

While yes there are really good athletes receiving tuition assistance, they are the minority. I think a lot of people are very ignorant just how many kids that go to Catholic need financial help

How many public school kids that are good athletes do they have on tuition assistance?

I’m guessing it’s less than 100% - which is the ratio for every public school football team.

Big public schools, like Catholic, aren't really the problem in Louisiana, but 1A, 2A, and 3A schools doing this is why our publics and privates don't play each other any more in the LHSAA playoffs.

we don't have the split because some schools form superteams

we have the split because other schools can't beat those superteams

Another reminder Ruston High hammered Catholic High.

Catholic lives each day with the shame of the record setting loss 52-10.
