Yes please, can you tell us one more time how arrogant & EVIL Tech is & how we’ve managed to sabotage the entire Sun Belt & especially the poor, oppressed, Cajuns. This is all new, please tell us how you feel?
I’ll tell you this much, the SBC has the votes to go to 14. Which is a new development today.
Marshall and USM are all but official.
The other two will be out of WKU, ODU and JMU.

Like Marshall and USM. Kinda wish we'd chill out there. WKU is alright but im not a huge fan of the other 2

It’s about balance between divisions and tightening the footprint. Easier travel for both divisions.
Those adds will improve the SBC as a whole, not just football. I was also told that ESPN would maintain or slightly increase the per team payout of $1.3M. Which was the main holdup for many SBC presidents.

Southern Miss doesn't have the big name, big dollar boosters. They don't have any big backers. For whatever reason, the school and Favre don't really get along or do anything together.
Favre does not really have big time donor money like you are talking about. He’s rich, but not donate enough money to help fund an athletic department rich. I wonder why the Duffs don’t seem to be more involved. They most certainly have money.

what's the beef between USM & Jimmy Buffett?

The leadership at CUSA appears to have been flat footed at best
No, just incompetent. That "Regional Plan" they sent out proved that.

The university AD, President and the athletic department were caught off guard and left scrambling - appears they had no idea what hit them
Possible. I don't think they thought CUSA would lose 6 at one time, much less 2-4 to the SBC

Tech need to clean house and get some new leadership
Ehhhh, I'm not convinced of that yet. I think they've done some good things, but this will be a pretty good test.

Hmmm, I thought y’all said that schools who recently left the Belt like WKU, wouldn’t be invited back! ODU would be a terrible add, they don’t contribute anything to CUSA.
If I was JMU, I would def look to the Belt if wanting to move to FBS. Can’t deny the huge success App St & Coastal have had. Those two teams are the most recent additions & the best in the SBC conference.

They just gave 20 million plus to Ole Miss to fund a STEM center.

Hopefully they invest more in their program. They were the orginal Boise State.

The trouble with that is that the school has never retracted or otherwise tried to clean up the damage that his presser did. So that means it was not just your former AD, but also your Admin.

It’s like a bad break up. It’s not you, it’s me. Well it LaTech’s case, IT IS YOU!
How they can think they’re different and don’t belong with SBC schools is mind boggling! But their stubbornness might have burned their bridges!

Tech has had plenty of missteps along the way, you can laugh all you want. We poke fun at ourselves all the time.
You see, that’s not how it looks to everyone else. It looks like you take yourselves way too seriously!

We never sent an AAC application. With the current conference predicament, the administration is ok with the Sun Belt.
I remember when ULL and other SBC schools were doing anything and everything they could to get into CUSA. CUSA's leadership must be historically incompetent for schools to be wanting to move from CUSA to the SBC.
