“Rolando let me know that he plans to retire from the NFL,” GM Ozzie Newsome stated. “We have placed him on the Reserve/Retired list.”
Probably has a bigger D than LaBron.

I almost feel sorry for him.....almost.

He needs to get his shite together- take a few years off, and come back like Ricky Williams did. He's a very talented linebacker, just has some serious issues

I dont. He is a complete waste, and a bit of en embarrassment for Bama.

what year did McClain get drafted?

2010 draft- after the 2009 CFB season

I'm sure he will use his marketable skills to find gainful employment.

Im sure Bama will welcome him back with open arms and allow him to finish his degree

He's not retiring. He's quitting.

What's with all these Alabama players retiring after only 2 years in the league?? First Glenn Coffee now McClain? Bama players are softer than cashmere

McClain needs more Jesus, Coffee needs less.

I hope this isn't related to his Crohns.

Glen and his brother never cared enough about football to pursue, but their dad did. Last I heard, the rumor was Glen was going through basic training. Though that would make the news, so I'm not sure it's true.
I fear this decision for Rolando might be bad, as now he's gonna have idle time
