With Rodgers pretty much following in Favre's footsteps going from the Packers to the Jets, let's look at how close their careers were in Green Bay:
Favre-16 seasons, 161 wins(10.1 per year), 11 playoff appearances. 7 division titles, 4 NFCCG appearances, 2 Super Bowl appearances, 1 Super Bowl title, 12-10 playoff record

Rodgers-15 seasons, 153 wins(10.2 per year), 11 playoff appearances, 8 division titles, 5 NFCCG appearances, 1 Super Bowl appearance, 1 Super Bowl win, 11-10 playoff record

Just need to have Rogers send a dick pic to Tony Romo.

And now both headed to Jets after not being able to give Packers FO a straight answer on playing. Rodgers will be a Viking in ‘24

I think the MSB would be fine if he defrauded the state of CA though

Favre was during Madonna, Rodgers is mostly post-Madonna

Man, frick the packers. They've had HOF quarterbacks for 31 years straight. That level of consistency is pretty damn unheard of at that position for a franchise.

I think it's clear Favre and Roger are both not pre Madonna, but most of her hits were before Farve went pro so the case could certainly be made they are both post Madonna.

Both waffled about retirement.

Both felt they were to good for preseason practice.

Both like drugs.

Where they are different? Favre is a baw that was open to the YOLO pass a few times a game. Rodgers is an old emo that is more worried about his stats than winning.

Also both got upset when the Pack drafted their replacements that started the whole retirement/play elsewhere thing.

Rodgers goes on darkness retreats, Favre goes home to Mississippi. So pretty similar there too.

You left one out. That the front office got tired of their shite and told them to hit the bricks at the end of their Packer career.

It’s funny looking back to when they ran Favre out of Green Bay. They were tired of Favre’s will he/won’t be play bs. Coaches knew what they had with Rodgers but took a ton of heat from the fanbase when they told Favre to buzz off and traded him. It was a gutsy call that paid off.

Now they dump Rodgers because they’re tired of his shite.

I’d argue they are both post-Madonna. That fossil is a relic from the 80’s.
