I thought the Jordan Love pick with GB was a good one and he would become a good starter and replacement for Rodgers.

I was on the Stroud train from his first game starting in college. His balls placement has always been incredible and it translates to the NFL. I know OSU QBs had/have a stigma, but if you watched his highlights you saw throws that were indefensible his first year.

I didn't dislike Young, but I didn't understand why people would have taken him over Stroud. Both were extremely productive in college and played with top level WRs, except one is 5'10'' and one is 6'3''.

I was wrong on Stroud. Well, I wasn't right as much as I thought, "Great, we selected an OSU Qb." A 3-year serviceable QB. I did think he was better than Haskins, Jones, and Pryor though. Maybe another Fields.

I was wrong about Sam Darnold. Thought he would be top 10 NFL QB. I was wrong about Mahomes and Watson. I figured he would be trash but he was great with the Texans although he does suck now so I'm partly right.

I was right about a lot but those were my big misses.

Allen was weird because he literally was a farm boy with very minimal QB training.

GMs have constantly tried to recreate it and they will continue to fail. Most inaccurate QBs in college will never become accurate. Because most P5 QBs have been receiving immense qb training since being 10 years old. If they don’t have accuracy in college they aren’t going to find it

Josh Allen was from a farm and all his play leading up to the nfl was based on his dad coaching him on his pistachio farm and shite

Didn't realize this right or wrong.

One's I was right on:

- Right about JD
- Right about CJ Stroud
- Appear to be right about Anthony Richardson (as in he's not going to be good enough)
- Right about TLaw not being a can't miss NFL QB. Signs were there.
- Right about Zach Wilson not being good
- Right about Justin Fields not being good (although there are signs off life)
- Right about Burrow
- Right about Kyler Murray (he's not elite but he's still a franchise QB)
- Right about Daniel Jones being a reach
- Right about Blake Bortles
- Right about Johhny Football
- Right about Blaine Gabbert
- Right Right about Tim Tebow
- Right about Vince Young

Right about Peyton Manning but that wasn't rocket science lol.

That's as far I can remember.

SFP and I have talked about that. There aren't many inaccurate strong arms that can be developed into a star. He is an outlier.

I thought T Law was going to be a stud. Hated Clempson but always like Lawrence and loved the tools. Just because I was so high on him it makes me want to say he could still turn it around but man this season has been rough. Doesn't look good.

Not going back that far but I was real high on Stroud and knew he was the pick over Bryce. That should have been a no brainer. Sometimes you wonder if these scouts even watch the games.

One prime example of "are these guys even watching games" was when Tyson Jackson went #3 overall to the Chiefs. Guy had a good Sophomore season and a pretty average Junior and Senior year and gets selected 3rd overall. Averaged about a tackle a game and rarely got after the QB. Ended up lasting 8 years but ended his career with 9 career sacks and 15 TFL. Oof.

Most Right: I can remember watching Drew Brees for maybe two games at Purdue his sophomore year and thinking, “This dude is going to be a stud NFL QB”. Made me think a bit of Montana. A guy who is WAY more athletic than people gave him credit for. Early on in his career, especially after Year 3, looked like I was completely wrong about him. He became by far my Most Right, especially when you consider his draft spot. It was easy to be right about Peyton Manning or Andrew Luck.

Most Wrong: Cade McNown. I really thought the dude would be a long time starter and multi-pro bowler in the NFL. I was flat out wrong. WAY wrong.

Same, but he hasn’t seemed to be nearly as back as Cade McNown who is my biggest miss. Plus..the book isn’t closed on Lawrence just yet. Alex Smith seemed like a sure, HUGE bust after his first six seasons. Maybe he didn’t live up to #1 Pick status, but 3 Pro Bowls (I know those are devalued these days) and a couple conference championship game appearances with some nice playoff game performances certainly lifted him out of the big bust conversation.

I really thought A&M's Edd Hargett was going to flourish in the Saints' system.

I was huge on Lamar and was shocked when the Saints passed on him.

I also thought Matt Ryan was gonna be terrible

I don’t even try anymore. I was convinced Zach Wilson was going to be a stud.
