I'd love to have been a reporter present and asked Sherm a followup about how he connected the dots from twitter Trump supporter to "not saying he can't be racist" and watch him stammer as he searches for an answer that isn't debunkable,

Sherman probably got asked because there's already been controversy about Bosa's old twitter. Check this article:

LINK

Sherman probably got asked a question about them, not jumped in front of reporters and started connecting dots from Trump supporter to racist. Sherman gave a pretty neutral answer that actually helps Bosa out by moving the conversation past the controversy.

It's just strange to throw that out there about Bosa before the guy has even reported to camp / probably before Sherman has even met him.

I can't imagine telling my new co-worker on his first day... "Hey man nice to meet you, just want you to know if you are a bad co-worker that is something we are going to address, and you might be racist but you have worked with white people before so I'm sure you know how to maneuver around us. Want to grab lunch?"

It's just abnormal. Sherman seems like a strange and awkward dude sometimes.

To think Sherm actually attended and graduated from Stanford makes this even more surreal, saying this stuff about your team's no. 1 draft pick is a way you know you'll get cut or at least increase the risk of getting cut

That being said, I don't really get the uproar about Bosa's stuff either.

The media spun it as if he was against prominent black figures like Beyonce. Black women love Beyonce so they have led the anti Bosa talk from what I have scene on social media. Black Panther was also a big thing for black people and he was against that. They made it seem like he went out of his way to be against these things because they were black related. Its possible he is critical of a lot of things and they just chose these, not sure.

I think it's very possible if not outright clear that's the case. Bosa, like you and I, is entitled to his opinion about things and his opinions should be of no consequence to anyone. I guarantee you he's not the only person on this planet who's not a fan of Beyonce and Black Panther, people have different tastes for things, to each their own, grow some thick skin and get over it.

When it comes to fixing social issues around the country absolutely it is. You need to quit getting your San Francisco news from the OT and Poli board.
Yea, having an insanely high homeless population, insanely high cost of living situation pricing out all but the wealthiest, and literal poop everywhere...yea.

Leading the country in fixing everything.

Are you not familiar with some of the tweets for which Bosa apologized? It's not like this is out of the blue.

Why do people have a problem with this. He literally said that if Bosa was racist, it won't be a problem at all because he's a heck of a ballplayer. Does anyone really disagree with that?

Well then his comment in OP would contradict that
