I'm never one of those guys that says "I'm done with whatever sport" for any sort of scenario, but if the NFL does this stupid trash, then I'm out. 100%. I watch sports for sports not politics.

Nope. I'm out. I stayed pretty neutral on the national anthem kneeling as I felt like that's someone's right as we're not forced to stand for the flag in this country. But frick its like they're now actively trying to push away folks like me. The black national anthem? Give me a break. There's no Black Nation. We are one nation. Under one flag. Under one anthem.

Yep the whole "who cares, it doesnt effect me" mindset is why this country is going down the shitter.
I get it to a point, but you cant ignore everything in life that doesnt directly effect you because eventually what visits everyone else's doorstep will be visiting yours.
This is extraordinarily minor in the grand scheme, but I dont appreciate the message it sends. It just re-affirms tribalist attitudes and further divides black from white.
This entire "systemic racism" movement has done nothing but divide black and white people. It has no coherent message and is as vague as you can get.
They're high on symbolic gestures but low on specifics and message.
How do we fight systemic racism? If you ask BLM its : give up your job, give up your property, vote for reparations. Aka, self-immolate because of something your ancestors did and give everything to people who didn't experience any of the things they want justice for.
