They took a booming business and in less than 10 years ran it into the ground. Amazing. It’s like they sat in a room and figured out ways to frick up the NFL.

They have increased revenue every year for the last 15+ years. Last year they made 16 billion dollars.

In no sense have they run the league into the ground

I consider myself about as diehard of a sports fan as there is. When everything shutdown I didn't know how I was going to live without sports. Now that it's been this long, though, I'm starting to realize how dumb some of my obsessions were and how much of a waste of time some of it was.

Now they're doing this sort of shite? Be careful NFL

The standardized norm for acknowledging the National anthem is standing up with hand over heart.

There are some cases in the past when players have opted to have both hands around the shoulders of other teammates. Not as a form of protest, but as sign of team unity.

Is that disrespectful?

Some might think so, but I doubt many would because it's not a deliberate act directed at the anthem.

The kneeling is not only against the norm but specifically directed at the anthem and what it represents.

Again, you can agree or disagree, but this isn't some puzzle.

A great test of hypocrisy for both sides would be how people treat this "Black National anthem". There will undoubtedly be outrage from all angles with this. Imagine when white people turn their back to it or something of the sort.

So I think this is going to be the single greatest mistake we’ve seen a major sports league make in modern history. For an industry as big as what the NFL is, I’d have assumed they tested this out to check the pulse of the average fan. To see what the typical football consumer would take. But it really looks like none of that took place.

White people aren’t going to accept this. I’m not trying to be racially divisive, but how could playing something called the “black national anthem” be seen as anything other than being just that?

I’ve said before, the NFL should fear one thing from white people more than a boycott: Alienating white people to the point they aren’t interested. I won’t get on facebook and rant about how I’m boycotting, I just won’t watch the NFL because they’ve made me no longer WANT to watch it.

Why would I want to post this on Facebook and get an earful from all my liberal friends? Friends who don't watch football, I should add.

I'm sure all my white guilt, libtard friends will laud the NFL's decision. Too bad they've never been football fans anyway. Maybe the league can depend on them for ad revenue now.

No, but it is ignorant because the hayseeds do not understand basic etiquette.

I thought this whole thing wasn’t about the anthem? Wasn’t that the spin? But now we suddenly need a separate one for some reason. Gotcha.

Lol. Don’t really care because I won’t be watching either one.

Neither is kneeling. It's not protesting the anthem.

Of course it is. You can admit that your sportsball heroes are being disrespectful.

Bro Kap made this specifically about the flag and the country he found to be "oppressive" his first interview that he did those quotes are out there.

You can slice and dice as much as you want but it 100% has to deal with the flag, USA, and anthem.
