Yeah word is going to get around to not do deals with them at all. This is going to be their FAFO moment.
This is so odd to me considering this forum swore for years NFL owners don't collude and have never colluded against player interests.
Lol you guys

Hate to agree with Raiders fans, but Ravens should be investigated for this shite. They pulled this in 2018 too. They saw they could get Hendrickson for a good price w/o having to give up picks and then came up with some BS to get out of the Crosby deal.

League should honestly take away those picks they were going to give the raiders.
The NFL independent doctors were brought in by the Ravens, they also failed him.

Assuming you’re talking about the Raiders here (worst run franchise), but they’re not desperate to shed cap. They just gave out nearly $300Mil in contracts Monday and still have enough space to include Maxx back into the fold.

I wouldn’t put too much stock into anything Jason La Canfora says. He was literally banned from the Ravens facilities and lost his job for making up fake sources about the Ravens and got caught.

They saw Trey's market was soft and shifted gears
And in this age of zero integrity, backbone and pathetic social pressure, wouldn't put it past the weak-minded that getting dumped on by the media and internet over the trade value this past week, influenced their sudden cold feet.

Lol, man a bunch of soft woman in this thread or what? This is business 101. Its VERY far from dirty or in need of an investigation.
You literally bring in your own Doctors, you think you are going to trust the Doctor for the player that BENEFITS from not telling the full truth?
Even if its bullshite and the results were the same, why does it matter? It was a couple of days?
Contracts pending or contingent on physicals, inspections, financing, etc. are normal.
Plenty of contracts are contingent on "financing" which is very easy to change the terms on and cancel the contract if need be.

Let me rephrase, you put in contingencies like that specifically for this type of reason. It happens every minute of every day.
The Ravens going through with it, with Hendrickson available, would have been an even bigger boneheaded mistake by their GM. You can't always wait for one deal to be completely figured out before working on the next day.

Everyone knew the extent of Crosby's knee injury.
This won't hurt someone listening to an offer for their 1st round pick, but those mid round deals might be a little harder to come by as a result.

Raiders and Crosby were trying to get one over… the proof will be no one else is going to offer a 1st or 2nd round pick for Maxx
