This reads like a South Park episode

This is just sad. Someone needs to tell him that he’s not Kevin Durant.

Been in his brother's shadow his whole life and now this huge mistake. Even as a bench player he was making good money I bet.

Betting $80K parlays on Jontay Porter props. I'm truly shocked they got caught.

I have always wondered if NFL players gambling is as much of a thing. It a lot easier to manipulate a game with the ball in your hands/guarding a guy with the ball say a QB to throw a game. And with the money they pay skill position players, it would have to be a very large bet for him to take the risk. Then again, its not like these guys have an accounting degree, and one timely fumble by an underpaid, over the hill RB, or missed FG by a kicker could definitely affect the outcome of the game.

I also may be naïve, but while I could see a player using information to bet ON his team, I have hard time believing they would bet against their team/throw a game.

If you are on a main roster, the minimum is around a $800k salary IIRC.

If he is a two way guy, though, he is making significantly less than $1m.

Looks like the cap is about $450k if you are active for a bunch of games.

A guy averaging 3 points in two games played even having a player prop bet is surprising. I can’t believe these idiots don’t think these massive bets aren’t going to get flagged.

They need to ban whoever in the NBA main office dictated to refs that LAL get such favorable calls. It's not even close it’s historic. That is high level cheating and there needs to be an independent audit performed.
