So sick.
Was just examining this the other day. Bought a bunch of throwback jerseys, this raptors logo included.
Logos and courts etc used to be infinitely cooler than they are today. At somepoint the style switched to sleek and modern and it’s gay af.
The nuggets logo was big Rocky Mountains, now its a gay circle with a tiny pickaxe. Grizzlies had a big arse angry grizzly, now it’s a mute blue stuffed animal bear head. The raptors went from the awesome raptor to an ripped basketball in a circle. The Kings went from a cool dual lance shockwave thing, to half a basketball with a taper fade on top.
These new logos are just horrible. Jerseys and logos back in the 90s/early 2000s were sick. In your face, over the top. Way cooler

The Vancouver Grizzlies whole story is pretty interesting to me. How quickly the NBA gave up on it and the fact they were legitimately awful the few seasons they were there. Has to be the shortest lived modern pro sports franchise

Didn't help that the CAD sucked against the USD at the time and the lockout that happened killed fan interest
Doubt a franchise moves if that happens in 2025 instead of 1999/2000 since the major leagues are in a different galaxy now with revenue and stability but was a knockout blow back then
