Lakers from 2017 or 2018. Do they qualify?
BI, Zo, Jordan Clarkson, Julius Randle, Deangelo Russel, Josh Hart, Kuzma, Brook Lopez, Zubac, Larry Nance.

Clip show have had 100 billion #1 picks under Sterling and did nothing with the talent

Marlins once had:
Giancarlo Stanton
Christian Yelich
Marcell Ozuna
JT Realmuto
Ichiro
Dee Gordon
Jose Fernandez(RIP)
And only won 79 games.

The Lions. What other franchise has their all-time greats retire or leave in their prime? As of late though, I have to say the Texans. Losing D-Hop, Watt and Watson in the span of about a year and they never even made an AFC Championship. I’m also going to throw in the 2000s Chargers here for wasting some elite teams as well.

Astros. Look at all of that talent they had but they still had to cheat to win

Do be fair we CO3 has never won a championship and we could have won one with AD and Lebron James.
So frick off.

Well there was that time that the Thunder drafted future MVPs in 3 consecutive seasons but never did better than a gentleman sweep in the finals

I’m surprised it took so long for someone to mention OKC Thunder. I thought they would be named in the first couple of replies...

nobody will ever top the Buffalo Bills losing 4 Super Bowls in a row. That’s the ultimate waste of elite talent
This has got to be one of the dumbest sports takes I’ve ever read/heard.

Cleveland Indians.... /thread

Atlanta Braves were close. One title during that run is not all that impressive. They had the best pitching staff in baseball for a long while with a studded line up and fell short constantly.

Yep they had the same core too the next year and were up 6-2 in the 8th to take a 2-0 series lead going back to Detroit against the Red Sox in the ALCS. Papi hits a grand slam and the series momentum completely flips. Brutal.

The hitting routinely disappeared in October.

Mariners had Arod, Griffey and Randy Johnson and won 85, 90 and 78 games....
But the St Louis Blues are actually much worse: over the course of the 90s they had:
Wayne Gretzky
Scott Stevens
Brendan Shanahan
Rod Brindamor
Al MacInnis
Brett Hull
Grant Fuhr
Chris fricking Pronger
and more HOFers that I'm forgetting about and only got to 1 Conference Championship

Cleveland Indians - those powerhouse teams in the 90’s should have won at least one. You had peak Thome, Manny, Alomar, Lofton, Vizquel.

The Texas Rangers have 6 MVPs all time and 0 World Series

San Diego Chargers are up there from recent history.
