Willie McGee might be the ugliest man to walk the face of the earth in the last 472 years

I love how the guys in the 70’s look like they should be playing in a softball beer league.

It blew my mind you posted Lee Tunnell’s card first in the OP. I entered the thread to post it

Agreed. Some of my general observations after scanning this thread:

1) Some of the pics on the cards look like they were taken with an old Polaroid.

2) The world has come a long way in eye-wear since the 70's. The glasses some of those guys wore covered their entire face.

3) And speaking of the 70's, what a great time to be alive. Zero fricks were given about how you looked or dressed. The razor companies probably all approached bankruptcy. I was a little kid during the 70's and didn't get to appreciate it all. I wish I could go back for a day and be a 70's adult.

And of all the bad cards posted, I found this one to be the most cringe-worthy.

Reminds me of the hearse driver in Burnt Offerings, a terrible 'horror' movie from the 70's.

What do the Bust trophies mean? I've seen a few of those on cards featuring good players.

Always wanted that Frank Thomas card growing up.

I had that one... Thomas, Ripken, and Griffey were my favorite players back then

What should have been, even if they don’t make the 84 NLCS with Sutcliffe

And to complete my favorite outfielders who were traded to the Indians.

Haha, you are so right. Some of those guys looked like someone’s grandfather in those pictures. They probably had to use a cane or walker to make it to the pitcher’s mound.

Yeah, I cringed when I saw that Downing card. He looks like a serial killer in that picture with a knife hidden somewhere under his uniform.

I had to have that Jordan card when I was a kid. I loved that card.
