So the "worldwide leader in sports", with all of their coverage, insiders, etc, is going to be setting lines for games? What could go wrong there

Right. People like watching trainwrecks. They love watching people make fools of themselves, or be totally oblivious to being unintentionally funny. Mintz does that.
Obviously the MSB is just one place but it's hard to say he's not doing his job well when everyone around here talks about him more than all other Barstool personalities.

Very small. Some youtube guy caught Dave headed to dinner last night and did a few question interview. Asked him who would lead the office when he's in Miami, he said Frank lol

Not to mention they actually have a hand in an aspect of the game, ESPN chooses the kickoff times and dates for a lot of games.
