Cam Newton looks like a character that some liberal casting manager forced into a 1860s period piece to make the movie more diverse

Hes a hall of fame QB whose father was a coach

Clearly a leader
I dont see why you wouldnt give him a shot when Miami hired a water boy

Im glad to see the recycling of Head Coaches in the NFL coming to an end

I can’t in any realistic world see rivers being the coach but would rather him over a harbaugh, Tomlin, McDaniel etc

But would rather one of the true young guns like Udinski, Davis, kubiak

harbaugh is 63 years old and coming off multiple years of having an mvp caliber QB with not much playoff success

Something from 11 years ago doesn’t matter much at this point to me

Forgive me for not wanting that type of retread

ETA: I think it’s a good hire for the giants. Not the type of hire for the bills IMHO

Watching the media guys hype up this potential hire is reminding me of very recent events

Mayo had 4 years of nfl coaching experience ….

As it relates to rivers, he either would be a good coach or not. I don’t think going out and getting 3 yesss as a coordinator somewhere first would do anything for him

My thoughts, as well. I doubt very seriously that the Bills would actually hire him, but we’re not talking about some random carpenter interviewing for the job.

I’m well aware I’m talking about the conversation around their abilities being similar from the media (likely being pushed to do so via an agent or other relationship)

With Mayo it wasn’t about his 4 years of coaching, it was about how much of a leader he was on the field, how he was a coach on the field as a player and if he got a good staff he could figure it out because he’s the smartest player BB ever had and could connect to young players

Josh Allen has never played in a Super Bowl despite many playoff appearances, just like Philip Rivers. This would be a perfect fit for the Bills. Get it done, Beane.
