People who refer to Florida State as “Florida” and Ohio State as “Ohio”

This is an automatic indicator that someone is not even remotely sports savvy. I’ve heard several middle-aged women do this on a regular basis. It just really annoys me for some reason. It’s a pet peeve of mine. Get the damn school’s name right.
