For the last few years it’s almost been expected that Bryce Harper is going to leave the nationals after this year. It’s one of the biggest markets and biggest revenue generating teams there is. Dont get this idea that he is too big for Washington.

Yankees have like 100 championships. I'd rather play for the Yankees

About that revenue, in 2016... the gap between #5 Giants and #10 Nats was larger than the Nats and last place #30 Tampa Bay DRays. The gap between Yankees & Nats is larger than the combined revenues of DRays + Nats

#1- Yankees $526mil
#5- SF Giants $428mil
#- Wash Natls - $305mil
#30- Tampa Bay DRays - $205mil

I live 100 miles from the Nats stadium and will never attend a game due to the cluster frick traffic in the DC area.

This.

When we talk about market size in sports, big pretty much only means NY, CHI, or LA

BOS, PHI, DC, HOU, DAL, SF, SEA, DEN, etc., are on the next tier

No one up here believes he will resign with the Nationals. Prob. sign with Cubs, Angels, Dodgers, Yankees, or Redsox.

I'm on active duty orders up here and I get around fine. Yeah, traffic is a pain in the arse but timing, alt. routes, and metro makes it manageable.
