Well it's currently looking like a steal.

What on earth could possibly make you say that they’ll regret it? His defense alone is worth that contract

PCA doesn’t think Babe Ruth existed. He’s a little off.

1st player in MLB history to homer on the 1st pitch & the last pitch his team sees

4th OFer in MLB history with back to back 30/30 seasons

He had .5 fWar in last night’s game. Kyle Tucker has .4 fWar for the season
That’s for you Dodger knuckleheads

If you take a poll on who’d you’d rather for the rest of the season I bet it would be a resounding choice for Yordan

Still an incredible thing to accomplish but you’re wrong it’s happened 5 times since 1957.
Chris Young 2010
Ian Kinsler 2009
Reed Johnson 2003
Darin Erstad 2000
Vic Powers 1957

Wrong. All of those except Vic powers were leadoffs. Powers was a 1st inning leadoff. PCA was a 1st pitch leadoff

I’m one of the five Rays fans in the world. Give me Yordan. It’s not even close.

which is so epic when you consider how many games he's pitched in!!!!!!

exactly, it shows just what a great fielder he is in addition to what he's doing at the plate. If you don't think great defense on a daily basis is important and pitching 6 innings every 5 days is way more valuable - I'd say it is more valuable, but the "way" part we'd disagree. Great defense is too often underrated.

WAR may not be your metric of choice but a lot of teams base their organizational models on accumulating WAR. PCA's is best in baseball this year and it's pretty large sample size.

You seem to be under the impression I'm saying he's the best player in baseball and better than your boy....relax I'm not. I'm just saying he may not be the best player in baseball but he's very close to being that, and there is a very reasonable argument to be made for that take.

The only impression he’s under is that he’s a good troll. His schtick is tired
