No but clearly the pats were willing to take a chance and I’m sure they had a discussion with him about his behavior while he was a Patriot. His talent alone is worth taking a chance on him getting it together

i just don't see why then those texts are a game changer for the pats then. AB still is what he was a week ago.

There was a risk, that money could have gone for an offensive tackle.

They may have had a feeling it wouldn’t work out, but hell, it was zero risk with a possibility of a high reward

Yeah, 6 titles tends to buy you a hall of a lot of rope so Belichick probably doesn't give a shite that Robert Kraft is out a few bucks and will look like an idiot for a couple of days.

I think the NFL is about to step in, honestly. Pats didn’t want to deal with all that.

Putting a person in a group chat with your friends and lawyers, posting pictures of her and her kids, and telling people to dig up dirt on her is kind of abhorrent, and completely provable.

Sure the money can go elsewhere, but are there really unemployed offensive tackles out there who can move the meter at all? Or anywhere close to the way a top 3 WR can?

Just money? No. Late season trade bait? Yes.

Bill probably made the decision because he was tired of being asked about him.

Because I’m sure him communicating with the people accusing him is against all sorts of legal and team guidelines. This isn’t some mystery or anything. Pats hoped he would get together, he proved he won’t, and now he’s unemployed.

His talent was worth the attempt and now they are right back to where they started

The real villian in all of this is Central Michigan University. This retarded fricker completed 3 years of education there, and was on his way to earning a degree.

You're fricking Central Michigan, you're never going to win anything of significance, have some integrity

Wait....

So the Patriots are releasing him because he’s a menace and brings bad press and negativity to the team and it effects their business and bottom line??

NOT because all the teams are racist?

Kaep needs to take notes.

@RosenhausSports
It's unfortunate things didn't work out with the Patriots. But Antonio is healthy and is looking forward to his next opportunity in the NFL. He wants to play the game he loves and he hopes to play for another team soon.

frick. 2 years in a row that I've lost a crucial player from my fantasy team because of off field behavior. Kareem Hunt last year, now AB.
