I think he's a terrific CB physically and his cover skills/technique is also coming along. But he isn't a top 3 CB like many here think, not yet at least.

What a troll. Even the national broadcasters claimed he was the greatest cover corners currently playing

Lol he was just elected first team All-pro

so being first team all pro means he's top 10 at best?

Maybe, maybe not, but he's certainly in the conversation for the tier 1 of NFL corners, and he's only 23. He's not consistent yet, which I ascribe to age, but I think he's about to enter his prime.

why do you start so many threads questioning why lsu and saints fans do things?

Good points
Hypothetically... What if in college Peterson played on a team whose offense ranked higher than the bottom 100's , who along with being statistically horrendous they were quarterbacked by guys who were historically interception prone or just down right pitiful at creating any sort of resemblance of an upper level SEC offense. Some of his biggest plays were overshadowed by ineptitude by his offensive teammates and coaches. Would his college career be more impressive at first glance if he played on an team with mediocre to average QB play?
In the NFL he has played with future Hall of fame QB's Kevin Kolb, John Skelton, Brian Hoyer Ryan Lindley and Carson Palmer.
I would just like to see how much more he would be praised and honored if he played on teams with offenses who could play at average to above average levels.

He's already an All Pro in 3 years in the league. Not the shitty Pro Bowl, but All Pro. I think his counterparts in the NFL are better judges of his game than you are.

Honestly he is overrated at this point . He is a physical freak, but there are a handful of better Cbs. I don't think he is a player QBs or Wrs fear. He is good, but should not be an all pro. He is still living off measurables, draft position, and a few high lights. There are better Cbs with less physical ability like Sherman or Joe Haden. Just my opinion. He gets beat alot and is lost or slow to react in zone sometimes. His football IQ is lacking. It will come with experience though. I'd give him 2 more years and then he'll probably be the undisputed best.

He's one of the best athlete's in the NFL. People act like corners can come in the NFL and dominate right off the bat. People like this are at up with the fricking dumb. He will be elite in the next few years. It is tough to play DB in the NFL,especially with the shite rules of today. Give him some time. God almighty. Go back to worrying about your all flash and absolutely no substance Oregon teams.

Such a basic criteria from a fan of a program with no titles.
