This is stupid. As an outsider, the answer to your question is pretty obvious. The guy was a fantastic LSU Tiger and has represented the university well. He was a high pick in the draft and is now a top 3 CB in the NFL, making the Pro Bowl every year he's been in the league. You should always stick up for your alumni if they represent the university well. There's absolutely no reason for LSU fans to not love him.

Congrats on yall's Super Bowl though. It was a great shutout by the real SEC powerhouse on 1/9 That Oregon season was lost in terms of Natty hopes in the loss to USC. I'll take the Rose Bowl win though.
And I agree with that other poster. I'd say he's top 5. Talib, Haden, Sherman, and Revis. I'd take those 4 if I were starting a team today and needed a CB for THIS season.
First off, you have zero right to call out a program like LSU when your team hasnt won shite, and the obvious fact that we curb stomped yall when we actually played.
Second, he was the best DB in college
Third, you come on here saying hes been good but not great, then agree that hes top 5? What is great then?

To be fair the word great is used far too often.
Being called good isn't an insult if its not by some 15 yr old kid who claims a player is the GOAT every other week.

Great representation for LSU and one hell of a player. I will admit that he sucked at intercepting alabama QBs along the side line though. Guy just could not accept that having possession of the ball and dragging your foot inbounds does not count.

LSU fans act like PP7 is their modern day Billy Cannon. You can't say shite about him. It's beyond weird. But - I guess - you latch onto - whatever you have been offered...and no Heisman winners, etc and nothing to show on offese...he's their best offering.
Patrick and Reggie won the same number of BCS and Heisman trophies.
