I’m surprise a player’s Dad on the team didn’t go down and tell his kid to go get dress… dude risking injuries to his players and the other team with that lowbrow shite

They absolutely did.

Well that certainly contributed to the score.

Bizarre.
You hear of this in youth games sometimes when a dad thinks he's Vince Lombardi, but it's hard to imagine someone whose actually getting paid doing this.

If you’re up 57-0 and the other team has only 16 players there’s really no injury risk

Are we just gonna gloss over the little nugget that this dude’s peewee coach was Dusty fricking Rhodes!?!?
I’m sure there are some great stories in there somewhere.

I remember one time Cody wanted to go to a concert but it meant he was gonna have to leave practice early. I suppose his mom convinced Dusty to allow him to go.
Anyway, the entire practice he kept yelling about how 2 of his players (Our TE and another coaches so) were going to miss practice to see some band called the dingleberries (It was the cranberries). I dont know why but that cracked us all up. He was also extremely hard on Cody that entire practice and saying things like what loser wants to go see the dingle berries? He made them start practice running gassers and doing bear crawls because he was gonna miss that stuff we normally did at the end of practice. I dont know why that one sticks out but it cracked us up as 13 y/o.
Also, before one of our playoff games DDP gave us a prep talk before the game that made me was to rip off someone's head and eat it. Dustin (Golddust) would come to some of the games and I remember some hot blonde with a nice rack. It was Terri Runnels. Ironically I didnt watch a ton of wrestling back then. When I did, it was WWF not WCW.

I can’t get over the amount of posters on this board that are in favor of him getting fired. But it makes sense considering most are also wnba fans

I can't get over the amount of posters that think white trash trying to score 70 before halftime against 16 players isn't a big deal. They had 11 kids going both ways with five 14 year olds on the sideline and Slingblade is kicking onside kicks before halftime. Gotdamn there are some 'necks on this board

It is the same thing as picking on a special needs kid.
I can't say the douche deserved to be fired but I am not going to lose any sleep over it.

The other school’s coach must have fricked his wife.
Why the hell would he go for onside kicks up 63-0 in the 1st half?

Call me crazy but the guy is some combo of A) an a-hole, B) likely in some kind of battle with his admin and trying to prove something , C) completely oblivious to societal cues.
Had he not been a complete prick he could’ve had the entire second half to work on whatever he wanted to already up 50.

I'd rather be beaten soundly and have the score run up, than for another team to feel sorry for me.
Compete for the entire game.
FWIW, my sophomore basketball team only had 9 players, but someone was injured almost every game, so we generally only suited up 8 players. I played. We competed.
Our senior high football team had 13 players. I wasn't on the team, however. They competed.
If you're coddling the opponent, you're selling the team short on a good life lesson.

Its funny how values apply to different sports. In basketball we'd have many games where we're were up by 50 at half and did full court press until mid 3rd quarter before scrubs got in. The full court presses getting easy turnovers over and over and up 50 is no different than practicing an onside attempt in 2nd quarter.

He was probably pissed at the other school for forcing him to play the game.
With only 16 players, the other school should be forfeiting or not even having a football team.
