Big 12 without UT and OU will be sad and nearly unwatchable

The Big 12 is one of the most entertaining leagues because the games are very competitive.

Some of y’all just don’t truly like football.

Remember that time OU and Texas were going to the Pac-12 joining Colorado? Gonna geographically spread their wings more than any other Conference.

That seems like the last days for the PAC and they didn't even know it. Big10 now stands coast to to coast and the PAC will be the most regional Conference in the nation. Kinda like the old SEC.

Of the three rivalries preventing realignment, Auburn Georgia is the most expendable.

People shite on the Big12 but sports is entertainment.

I have no desire to watch Alabama or Georgia beat Vanderbilt 45-0...at the half.

Big12 has fun competitive games. Being a top heavy conference is only good for the top heavies because eyeballs tune-out unless you're a die-hard. SEC parity has been at an all-time decade low and TV numbers are showing it by falling ratings.

The Big 12 is full of player that will be working Hertz or Enterprise car rental after college while the SEC is full of future pros.

It's like saying why don't you guys like to watch the WNBA the games are competitive?

Because the best Big 12 team in TCU lost by 58 pts in a National Championship game and the score was game was not as close as the score.

West Virginia vs Cincinnati will feel more like a Big East game than a Big 12

And then these random Iowa St vs UCF type matchups will feel more like a mid tier bowl game than a conference game

At the same time they beat the Big 10 champ. Yikes I guess all conferences should cease playing football.

OU will be the next Nebraska in football. It's just happening so much quicker then I even thought it would.

Not that bad of a league. Better than the Pac 12 will be without USC and UCLA

Hellicous conference for basketball and frankly, other than occassionally getting beaten like a drum in the national semi-finals what have either Oklahoma or Texas done on a national level since 2009 anyway?

This is painfully obvious. Venables is going to run the program into the ground and they won’t recover.

The Big 12 is a fun league. People who won’t watch it because “muh bad football” are pretentious jackasses. I guess they only watch the same couple of teams blow everyone out. Texas and OU are mid tier Big 12 teams too, then just have a more stories past, but that’s the past. I hope the money is good because they are about to get stomped in the SEC.

Could you name the last collegiate teams that the two current super bowl QBs played for? Or would that hurt your argument.

It’s an elite basketball conference for sure, football will be interesting because there’s no clear alpha dog.

Texas and Oklahoma joining the SEC makes 1000x more sense than USC and UCLA joining the B1G. I mean A&M is already in, why not add big brother, Oklahoma just sweetens the deal.

Not to mention, east Texas and east/central Oklahoma have a lot of southern culture.
